Teaching practice is generally defined into five main models. There are no definite boundaries between each model. No one model is regarded as superior to another. A thorough knowledge of all models leads to greater teacher flexibility and efficiency. Notice that these can be readily adapted to AIAL.
Some teaching-learner models are outlined below.
Approach is "teacher-centered"
based on "well-structured steps" of learning and the use of reinforcement
the teacher creates a "supportive atmosphere"
emphasizes learning based on the student's "interaction" with other people and with society, i.e. personal interaction.
"pupil-centered" model involving a range of teacher structuring with which the self-directed student interacts
Business Management
Mr. Darwish is a training & development champion for organizations & individuals. He is an Arab - American with a
MBA, BA in Criminal Science and BA in Journalism & Public Relations. Mr. Darwish has over twenty-five years of work experience in both the USA Federal Government and the private sector. He teaches in Principles of Management, Human Resource Management,
International Human Resource Driving License, Quality Management, Total Quality Management, Hospital Management, Hospitality
Management, Office Management, and Sustainable Management Expert.
Civil Engineering
Engr. Abd El Rahman Tarek Mahmoud Mohamed Abd El Fattah is an Egyptian National who has a Bachelor’s Degree in
Civil Engineering. He has completed so many projects in Egypt, KSA, and UAE. He has over than 6 years of experience in preparing drawings, engaging in abstracts and quantities surveying, preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports as well as supervising. He is teaching a lot of engineering courses in AIAL & DISC.
Management/Administration Teacher
Mr. Brian Shanny is an Irish National who holds degrees in law and Business Management from the National College of Ireland.
Mr. Shanny is a highly competent and capable individual with 18 years experience in various Management roles such as Human Resources, Sales & Marketing,
Project Management, and Business Development to name but a few. Mr. Shanny worked for the Irish government and was lecturing employees on various subjects. Mr. Shanny teaches and lectures in subjects such as Management, Business English, Human Resources, Hotel & Hospitality among others.
Finance/Management Accounting
Mr. Mohamed Kasem Aboudzeid is one of our fine instructors for Finance and Management Accounting with 7 years of experience in related field.
IT / Design
Egyptian Nationality, graduate of Bachelor’s in Information Technology Systems. He’s a Computer teacher in DISC. He teaches Adobe software,
IT, 3D Max, Interior design & other computer courses. Mr. Mohamad uses good organizational skills to track students progress.
Management/Finance Teacher
Mr. Taimoor Bahram is a highly motivated and articulated individual with previous experience in teaching Accounting and Finance.
His areas of interest cover
Exchange Rates, Stock Prices, and Portfolio Management.
He has Bachelors and Masters degree in Business Finance, with over 2 years of experience as an Accountant.
He believes pursuing a Professional qualification entails a lot of perseverance, critical thinking, and objectivity.
Language Instructor
Mr. Haytham Jiddan Abu Zein Eddin, Syrian Nationality, is a holder of Bachelor's of English Language and
Literature at Damascus University. He has more than 15 years of experience in English Language teaching & methodology,
he has an intelligent implementation skills in TOEFL and IELTS program.
